Find information about Carthage College mens swimming team, recruiting, scholarship eligibility, NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA rankings. Athletics program data follows where available. If you are a player, on the other hand, you may compete either at the intercollegiate level, or simply play intramural sports on campus. In order to stay on track with your ability to get recruited, it's a good idea to make sure you keep working out throughout the off-season.
If you are thinking about playing college sports, attend a summer sports camp on the college campus, if it is offered. Not only will the coaching staff get a chance to see live play, but you can check out the feel of the campus over a longer period. Participating in college athletics, taking mens swimming for example, can give you an advantage in recruiting, especially if you've been competing at the university level. Check with the athletics department for an updated schedule of competition dates, swimming camp registration deadlines, and a list of mens swimming team requirements. Many athletic programs also will have placement available for walk-ons, if you're trying out for the mens swimming team. Please use the form above to request admissions info for Carthage College.
Not all recruiting is done like NCAA Division I teams. College coaches are more interested in players who already know about their team and college, so do your research before visiting a college campus in person. Some student-athletes are wise to delay college entrance by a year. An extra year in high school or prep school can allow players to mature mentally, bring grades and SAT test scores up, put on weight and gain strength.

Online Courses - MOOCs
Graduates with either a bachelors or associates degree typically earn 60% more than employees with only a high school diploma, adding up to a $750,000 difference in lifetime earnings. If you remain true to your career interests, via Agnes Scott College Judaic studies, your overall job earnings will increase as you gain experience. However, if your focus is more on salary alone, there's a higher risk that you'll suffer early signs of burnout, and be forced to change careers later on.
Keep your eyes on the ball. Sacrifice your body if you must, but don't drop the ball. Watch the ball all the way into your hands, and get a good initial grip. Your sixth sense needs to be
developed to stay aware of other players at the same time. Be aggressive, and make a 2nd try on a given play if you have the time. It's one thing to make a good effort, but great players keep trying until they succeed, no matter how many years of practice that takes. Push yourself, work hard, and you'll improve as a player. Find a position you really like to play, not just settle for what you're good at. In the weight room, don't be fooled by players who are always pumping iron. You need to develop muscle strength along a natural range of motion. Good, old-fashioned push-ups, with a clap in the air every other rep, will do wonders to increase your chest and triceps. Chin-ups will increase your biceps, and pull-downs will bring out your lats.
